Jennifer Lopez was born in New York City on July 24, 1969, to Guadalupe Rodriguez and David Lopez. She is the second of her parents’ three children. She has a younger sister, Lynda, and an older sister, Leslie.

Jennifer was five years old when her parents enrolled her in singing and dancing lessons, and when she grew up, she was a student at Preston High School.
