First, at the age of 8 she started playing soccer, her uncle Fred Johnson noticed her passion for soccer and started training her.

Her uncle then enrolled her in the Pop Warner program.

Later, Fred took her to the Mighty Mite division (7-9 years old) of Harvey Colts, the team he coached, and made her a quarterback start.

She also moved to the Harvey Colts division of Junior Pee Wee under coach Jim Stovall.
