Diana R. Rhoten began her professional career in San Francisco in 1999, when she launched the Hybrid Vigor Institute. She was a policy advisor and consultant to former Massachusetts Governor William Weld at the time, and co-founded Start, New Youth City Learning Network. She was also an assistant professor at Stanford University School of Education and an assistant professor at Stanford University School of Education.
Rhoten worked for Amplify Education Incorporated as the Chief Strategy Officer in 2011. She did, however, leave after three years of service in 2014. In August 2014, she returned to IDEO, a design and innovation firm, and has been an associate partner since then.
Diana then moves to New York to become the Managing Director of IDEO. Her employment at IDEO allows her to assist a range of other businesses in expanding their global reach. She stayed till December of this year. Since August of this year, Diana has worked as a consultant with Recount Media. She also works for Nickelodeon as a consultant.
